Our new series concentrates on our favourites.  Not necessarily the best but the ones that have made that emotional connection with us the most.

The first episode of the series is boxing welterweights.

In the modern era that division is hot with talent and down the years, some of the biggest ever names haver competed at 147lbs.  Many historians will bring up names like Sugar Ray Robinson  but neither of us are old enough to have ever watched him fight, so our favourite list has been compiled of fighters from our generation.

Expect an argument over Mayweather and Pacquiao, a unanimous agreement on a Goldenboy and an emotional decision that included a British fighter.
